Week One of the 3rd Six Weeks and then...Thanksgiving Break


Greetings NIAA Parents,
This week is full of events and adventure for my class as well as Newman Academy:

9th and 10th Grade ELA students will be completing a creative writing project, Due November 21st for presentation. Students may work in collaborative groups or independently. All stories will be accompanied by illustrations found on Storybird.com or it may be all original artwork by students. The finish projects will be posted on my blog for all to enjoy.

Class Trip Meetings
Monday Evening, November 17
5-6 p.m. Senior Fundraising Dinner in the Upstairs Café
Pulled Pork and Sides $8.00 or $20.00 per family

Bake Sale
6:15 p.m. PSC Meeting in the Chapel

7:30 p.m. Class Trip Meetings at Every Grade Level (7-12)
We strongly encourage you to attend these meetings next Monday night in the Chapel, following the PSC Meeting. You will meet your Grade Coordinator, learn about fundraising and possible corporate sponsorships for the class trips, and be part of the planning process for your child's End of the Year Trip. Thursday Evening, November 20, at 6:30 p.m.

years. We need your ideas, dedication, and resources as we continue to build New-man into the educational institution that we all dream it can be. Join us...partner with us...help us reach our goal for our students' sake!
