Reading and
Analyzing Fiction
Hello Newman
Parents!
Coming up this six weeks we will be reading several short stories and
focusing on setting, plot, character, conflict and theme.
We will also
work in collaborative groups to discuss stories and share our thoughts and
ideas with the class.
…And of course continuing to flex our writing
muscles by writing creative stories formed with
fantastic characters, intriguing plots, mysterious settings and suspense!
I will keep
you up t0 date on due dates for all homework, group projects and individual
writing assignments.
Remember that
students have Monday, October 14th off for their Fair Day!
