The essay is due OCTOBER 3^RD . 

Students may print and turn in during class, email Ms. Sanders  at plsndrs721@gmail.com or save the essay to a flashdrive and Mr. Sanders will print it in class.

Remember to use the expository rubric, writing process handout and your group graphic organizer to assist in writing an excellent paper. GOOD LUCK!

Greetings Wonderful Newman Parents!

We have had a fulfilling three weeks in ELA-R. 

My 7^th, 8^th and 10^th grade classes have thoroughly reviewing the summer reading novels and have advanced to presentation and discussions about character, theme, plot and setting of each story.

We wrapped up the 3^rd week of the weeks by taking an writing and editing quiz based on our daily STAAR Starters (bell ringers) where we flex our brain “muscle” and sharpen our revise and editing skills.

The next three weeks will focus on the Writing Process and prepare for our first major essay.  We will address the following:
